About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic go-getter to become the next Strategic Sales Lead on their growing Agency Sales team. This individual contributor role gives you the chance to join the team at center-stage and be part of the rapid growth we are seeing across leading brands and digital teams. Reporting directly to the VP, Head of New Client Growth & Acquisition, you will harness your hunting skills and be the driving force behind identifying and acquiring new business opportunities. This is accomplished with the support of the best and brightest delivery and strategy teams in the space and facilitated by a rigorous, data-informed sales process to ensure you have all the necessary elements to win.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning all aspects of the sales process in building best-in-class, enterprise-level digital marketing solutions for high-growth brands across the Mid Market and Enterprise category and covering numerous verticals, which will include travel and preparation for in-person presentations and events
  • Creating new business opportunities through personal selling activities and leveraging your existing network
  • Working with the company’s Internal Marketing team in the creation of content and messaging to drive sales processes and presentation of materials
  • Partnering with our client’s Executive Leadership team in procuring the sales process
  • Working closely with leading brands to understand their digital marketing objectives and create the appropriate blend of our client’s services and technology to help them win
  • Collaborating across teams to build winning presentations in pursuit of new clients
  • Presenting custom digital marketing strategies to executives and large teams
  • Consistently winning new business and achieving personal revenue goals
  • Supported by our client’s comprehensive training tracks, as well as their Revenue Enablement teams
  • Attending trade shows and networking events

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of sales experience at a Digital Marketing Agency or selling SaaS and/or B2B solutions with a focus on digital marketing channels
  • An extensive professional network and set of strong relationships 
  • Consultative selling experience – learning where you can help before ever trying to sell
  • Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with knowledge of marketing and technical acumen
  • The ability to Quarterback multiple stakeholders (Internal/External) in the sales and strategy process
  • The ability to be influential, both externally with prospective clients and internally with key stakeholders to get the most out of key collaborations
  • High energy, strong work ethic, and a good sense of humor – humility is critical, and we are looking for people who are ready to learn every day
  • Creative confidence to help build the right team and set of recommendations in your pursuit of new clients
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a study relating to Sales (Business Administration, Communications, etc.)
