Glenborn’s contained search model is a hybrid model of the retained and contingent models, and is quite similar to the base plus commission setup you see in typical sales compensation. Similarly, we e receive an engagement fee equal to one-third of the potential fee upfront + get paid the remaining 2/3rd, a success fee, after the successful placement of a member on your team.

The upfront fee is a reflection of Glenborn committing our resources and talent to your search efforts. We put the time in to thoroughly understand your company, your culture and your product set and how you differentiate yourselves versus the competition and the nuances of the position in question.Our recruiters are prior technology executives who are skilled in in strategically sourcing the very best candidates for the position to hand using a combination of skill, experience, and technology. You pay the engagement fee to access our recruiting talent but only pay the success fee on actual hard results.
This model encourages a collaborative partnership between the hiring manager and the executive recruiter. We both have “skin in the game” so it encourages open communication and it allows us to work efficiently and effectively together to find a high quality candidate for your role.
Once we have an agreement signed, we use a systematic, targeted discovery process to thoroughly understand your open position and customize your search. We then dedicate all of our various resources to your position and consult with you during each step of the recruitment process. This model allows for transparency throughout the process and helps build trust with all team members.
We do not post positions and solicit candidate applications. We are active continually in the market building relationships with top GTM professionals. We have a database of over 30k candidates built up over 13 years of working in this space. We have amassed 360 degree feedback on many of these candidates from past managers and peers and proactively filter out non-performers. We also track 25k companies with a detailed company industry-vertical-persona tagging structure including parent and child tag relationships and ensure our database stays in sync with candidate job changes allowing us to keep on top of newly adopted skills and knowledge they get from new employers.
